Welcome to the
Parker  Academic Center PTA

Thank you for visiting the
PAC PTA website.

Parker Academic Center is one building housing four different and special programs, each designed to provide the best education possible for its students.

Our Academy scholars come from the historic West Charlotte neighborhood around our beautiful school and our Horizons students come from across Mecklenburg County, are considered highly gifted and go through an application process to enter the program.

Parker is also home to two magnet programs. The Learning Immersion program is for students in kindergarten through second grade who seek accelerated classes to prepare for the Talent Development program, also located at Parker. That program is for third- through fifth-grade students identified as gifted who receive advanced classwork from a certified gifted teacher.

Much like our unique school, our PTA is also diverse. We are a group of parents, grandparents, teachers and staff members working together to provide the best education possible for our scholars. From our Fall Festival to our two book fairs, spring event, Drop Everything and Read day, Direct Giving Campaign and the smaller, but still critical ways we help our teachers every day, we hope you'll join us.
